Huge news. A mecca of beauty is finally returning to our shores in 2023. Sephora, the cult French make-up store, will return to London after 17 years this spring.
The make-up and skincare palace will open a bricks-and-mortar store in Westfield White City in a couple of months. Sephora fanatics will be able to make the pilgrimage to west London in March, where alongside a host of high street and premium beauty products, they’ll be able to pick up exclusive Sephora-only brands like Makeup by Mario, ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr and Sephora Collection. The 600sqm emporium will stock more than 135 different labels.
Sephora is currently available in the UK, but only online: not so ideal if you don’t want to end up with a Wotsit-coloured face à la Donald Trump after ordering the wrong foundation.
Sylvie Moreau, Sephora president Europe & Middle East, told Retail Gazette: ‘Sephora has transformed the beauty experience of customers all over the world and we are delighted to bring our inspirational in-store environment to London, which has some of the most demanding beauty fans in the world.
‘We know that London’s youthful and inventive vibe is one of the best places on in the world for us to introduce some of the innovations that will make the Sephora experience even more extraordinary in the future.’
Say goodbye to dried-up No 7 mascara and powdery Rimmel foundation, there’s a new very pretty kid on the block.
Material, girl. Liberty London is hosting its first-ever in-store sample sale.
Gigantic shimmering bubbles will appear across the City this week.
