Now, we know when another of London’s most legendary shopping destinations will get its Christmas glow. Carnaby Street teems with people hunting for gifts and stocking fillers once festive season hits, and every year dazzles with a spectacular light installation.
Two years ago the street was dressed up in kaleidoscopic neon lights and last year it was decorated with giant Christmas crackers and ribbons illuminated by more than 60,000 LED lights.
Titled ‘Into the Light’, 2024’s display was entirely powered by green energy and designed to last for at least five years. So, while we don’t know exactly what this year’s lights will look like, we do know that they’ll ‘reveal the next chapter of the state-of-the-art installation’ with a ‘a fresh and enchanting display’. More details to follow soon.
