Last November, after a six year hiatus, Blackheath Fireworks made an almighty return. Prior to its break, the display was the largest free fireworks show in London. Sadly, the new version of the event wasn’t free, but it was just as spectacular. And it was so successful that it’s coming back for Bonfire Night 2026.
Alongside Lewisham council, Blackheath is now run by Slammin’ Events, which also looks after the fireworks at Alexandra Palace. And this year, it’s turning things up a notch. The event will be spread across a larger site, meaning more food stalls, more bars, more entertainment and a capacity of 40,000 (that’s 10,000 more than last year).
Tickets have gone live today and are expected to sell out, so act fast. Here’s everything you need to know about Blackheath Fireworks 2026.

Lineup
Garage stars DJ Luck and MC Neat will be in the Big Top tent alongside club legend Brandon Block. Massaoke (that’s mass karaoke) is back for a second year, as is the electrifying Lords of Lightning illuminations. There’ll also be a lineup of comedians bringing the laughs inside the Big Belly Comedy Club. And new for 2026, the event is launching the ‘People’s Stage’, which will host performances from local talent.
And if that’s not enough, there’ll be various fairground rides to keep you entertained, too. Food and drinks will be courtesy of local food vendors stationed at the event’s Street Food Village.
