The best nights out in London this week

The best nights out in London this week

With London getting really, really, chilly these days, and the weather being about as unpredictable as my bus to work, going out doesn't really have the same appeal as it did when you could hop from pre-drinks to club without a jacket. If you're anything like me at this time of year, you might be tempted to binge watch Netflix in bed and maybe throw in a Boiler Room for good measure. Enough of that: time to suck up the cloakroom charge, because there's so much sick stuff going on. Here are the best nights out in London this weekend.

Interplanetary Criminal (and lots of B2Bs)

Rhythm Labs are celebrating their 2nd birthday with a massive back to back party. And it's not just any B2B. It's a triple B2B, with stellar UK garage DJ Interplanetary Criminal joining forces with Bailey Ibbs and Riz La Teef. The celebrations are taking place at Grow, the community garden next to The Cause which sometimes doubles as a dance floor. Pretty cool.

Bailey Ibbs b2b Interplanetary Criminal b2b Riz La Teef, Saach, Rohan Rakhit, and more. Grow Tottenham, N17 9LZ. Fri, 26 Nov, 22:00 - 05:00. Tickets from £15.

Percolate presents India Jordan

If you've not listened to India Jordan's 'Watch Out!' album, I strongly recommend you do so now: it's full of fast-paced house, feel-good vocals, and all of the grooves you'd ever need to clean your house in a hurry. They'll be playing a party in east London's Werkhaus, joined by super-charged DJ Club Fitness and many others.

India Jordan, Club Fitness, Ifeoluwa, and Romy. Werkhaus, E1 6QL. Fri, 26 Nov, 22:00 - 05:00. Tickets from £10

Space Disco with Lindstrøm and Bjørn Torske

For one night only, some of the top Norwegian house heavyweights are coming together in London. The night of feel-good Scandinavian selections is curated by Pangaea Disco, a collective on a mission to share global dance music scenes with the capital's clubbers. Topping the bill is Lindstrøm, an Oslo-based multi-instrumentalist who'll be playing a live set across the contemporary disco spectrum. He's joined by Bjørn Torske, an eclectic house music producer who'll play everything from club-heavy tracks to celestial left-field electronica.

Lindstrøm (LIVE), Bjørn Torske, Fade to Zaire, Kmya, and more. Brixton Jamm, SW9 6LH. Sat, 27 Nov, 21:00 - 04:00. Tickets from £19.

Prosumer, Massimiliano Pagliara & Tia Cousins

Okay, so there's a lot of really good house going on this week. To add to the mix, Night Tales are hosting Prosumer, an ex-Panorama Bar resident DJ, promising an eclectic stew of techno, house (there it is again), breakbeat, and who knows what else. He'll be joined by a nice gang of others to fill up the dance floor and keep vibes flowing until the lights go on.
Armând, Prosumer, NVP, Tia Cousins and more. Night Tales, E8 1DU. Sat, 27 Nov, 18:00 - 03:00. Tickets from £8.

Beirut Groove Collective

Hailing from Lebanon, the Beirut Groove Collective (BGC) play energised parties bubbling with Middle Eastern tunes and the sweet sounds of funk and soul. This weekend they'll be back at Dalston's wackiest venue to spin some of the most obscure wax around. To find out more about the BGC's parties, check out their interview with Time Out, here

Beirut Groove Collective and Malayka Erpen. The Jago, E8 4AA. Fri, 29 Nov, 9pm-3.30am. Tickets £12 on the door.
