You can now mail pickles to anywhere in Europe

Sick of sending gift cards and other impersonal items for Christmas? Want your presents to stand out under the tree? This year, be the most original gift-giver in your family by mailing your friends and family a jar of something universally loved by all: pickles.

Beginning November 25, head over to Gabriel’s Wharf for the UK’s first ever International Pickle Post service. You’ll be able to mail Branston pickles all over Europe. Add a cheesy Christmas card (’pickle bells, pickle bells, pickle all the way‘ etc) to your gift and then stock up on one-of-a-kind pickle merchandise. Postage is free and the stamps feature scratch-and-sniffable pickles and cheese. Finally, tie your present together nicely in pickle-themed wrapping paper.

Supply chain issues have taken pickles off the shelves around Europe, so mailing a jar to a family member could make you a Christmas hero. No one’s shelves have to go pickle-less this winter.

The Pickle Post will also be available online, where you can personalise a jar to make this gift even more meaningful. Don’t let your loved ones pickle cravings go unnoticed. Because nothing says spreading holiday cheer like spreading pickles on your Christmas dinner.

Branston Pickle Post opens November 25 at Gabriel’s Wharf.
