Black Friday has been and gone, London’s festive markets, Christmas shops and department stores are buzzing with activity, and the big day is less than three weeks away. So if you haven’t already made some serious headway on your gift shopping, you might be starting to feel a little panicked.

Setting you back less than the price of a central London pint, the Ty Beanie Bouncers have topped renowned toy shop Hamleys’ list of the most in-demand toys for Christmas 2025. If you’ve walked past the Regent Street shop in recent weeks, you might have noticed that its window display is dedicated to the colourful little spherical plushies.
Essentially a cross between a Beanie Baby and a bouncy ball, they come in a huge range of different designs, including the cheerful snowman pictured above, some adorable little animals, both real (we’d die for Banana the Monkey) and fantastical.
‘It’s being billed as part of shift back towards soft toys and away from electronics and gizmos,’ Andrzej says of the little bouncing varmints. But they should be of interest to even the most screentime-pilled children too, as they’ve also done tie-ins with a bunch of popular kids’ TV shows and film franchises, from Peppa Pig, Bluey and Paw Patrol to Harry Potter, Disney and Marvel (we’d probably commit actual murder for the Hulk Beanie Bouncer too).
